OWNER AND/OR THE 153 RANCH RESERVE THE RIGHT TO
REFUSE A SALE FOR ANY REASON

*****************
Horses that are listed in our marketing program are not standing here on our farm, they are being advertised for the owner on our site as well as many other sites.  Generally we have never met the horse, nor have we ever ridden it.  If we personally have tried out the horse, it will be stated in the sales ad.  Current Negative Coggins and Interstate Health Certificates if needed will be between Owner and Purchaser.  We rely soley on the owners description of the horse for it's marketing purposes.  We try to accuratly represent their horse to the best of our abilities with the good, the bad, and the ugly.  However if the owners withold any information from us we are not responsible for the misrepresentation of said horse(s).  Prospective buyers can speak to us here for information on the horses.  Making appointments to try out horses are handled by the owners, deposits or payments at the time of sale are made to the owners as well.

Now, the horses that are listed at the top of the consignment page ARE STANDING HERE or they were here at one time and are currently listed in our consignment program.  The 153 Ranch handles the care, training and/or conditioning, marketing, showing, and the sale of these horses.  We try to represent these horses to the best of our abilities with the help from the owners.  The good, the bad, and the ugly will be disclosed either in the ad and/or in corrispondence.

We will not hold a horse for you without a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of a 10%min. down payment of the "original"asking price. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Example: We are asking $3,500 in the ad, and you negotiate the sale price of $3,000 instead.........your deposit would be $350 to hold the horse.

Deposits will only be returned if the horse DOES NOT pass a Pre-Purchase Exam (Vet Check) providing it's done in the alotted time stated. ALL VET CHECKS ARE AT BUYERS EXPENSE! "IF" you choose to not have a Vet Check done then horse is sold "AS IS" We recommend that all horses be vet checked apon your purchase.  In the event that you and your new horse are not a match we will offer to help resell your horse.

Horses are sold on a first come first serve basis, and if you are paying by check, horse(s) DOES NOT LEAVE until all funds have cleared as good. Apon purchase you will be issued a copy of a sales contract as your reciept so we prefer CASH as payment. If you show up with your truck & trailer the day of sale, have CASH in hand, if not there is an ATM & a bank located in town. We can and will accept PayPal as payment for a non-refundable deposit, or the actual horse purchase(s). Buyer agrees to pay the 3% fee if PayPal is your desired payment method.

NOW, not every horse will have these issues but if they do you will know about them.
In your sales contract there will be a list of any records from the vet, chiropractor, ect. Any known "issues" or "quirks" of horse being purchased, What has been found wrong with horse (dental, chiro, farrier, ect.) And of what we here have done to try and fix the issue. It will also state what still needs attention, and will need to be addressed by purchaser when horse is at home in their care. This document will be signed by seller & purchaser and will TRUMP any sale ads found on the internet (including this site) as those ads maybe old and outdated (with search engines all ads may come up new or old and for this purpose the ad listed on The153Ranch.com is the most current and prices listed here are the most recent and final).

ALL HORSES THAT ARE STANDING HERE
ON CONSIGNMENT BY "THE 153 RANCH"
ARE SOLD WITH A CURRENT NEGATIVE COGGINS
If horses are being sold out of state they will also have an Interstate Health Certificate along with the current coggins papers. These documents are provided out of pocket by "The 153 Ranch" or the owner, so please keep this in mind when negotiating your purchase(s). We will only pay for 1 IHC so if yours expires due to delays of any kind including transport delays, you will be responsible for the additional IHC(s) needed for legal transport and ALL fees will apply to you.

Horse(s) will need to be transported within 1 week of purchase or there will be a board fee that applies. If the horse is here for a longer duration: board fees, farrier fee, and Vet fee will also apply if applicable. Buyer is responsible for payment of these fees.
